Versatile like no other
In a few home furnishings versatility and adaptability play as significant a role as in storage systems—it's impossible to predict how much (or how little!) things the future will bring.
Woud's modular Bricks shelving system includes a wide range of components in different shapes and sizes to adapt to ever-changing storage needs. Designed by Ditte Vad and Julie Begtrup, the collection includes free-standing and wall-mounted options, both with open shelves and doors.
Portable beauty
The story behind Design House Stockholm's Pedestal side table is straightforward: designer Matti Klenell needed a portable stand for his laptop, so he decided to make one himself. The lightweight Pedestal easily moves from place to place, adapting flexibly to different spaces and needs.
The oak table consists of five spacers that allow the table's height to be adjusted from 25 centimeters up to 55 centimeters and a slim tabletop that can hold not just a laptop but also books, tea cups, or even houseplants.
Quieting the noises
This beauty may not necessarily calm the noise inside your head, but it's unbeatable for minimizing the disruptive noises in the room. The Isol pendant is made of patented Snowsound fiber fabric, which absorbs sounds from around and helps to improve the acoustics in any space—and naturally, the ceiling lamp also provides soft light at the same time.
In addition to the sculptural pendant, the versatile Isol collection also includes a practical floor lamp.
Neverending summer season
Muuto's Linear Steel lounge armchair combines perfectly with tables from the same series, but its timeless appearance harmonizes beautifully with other tables and chairs as well. The charming collection is designed especially for patio, balcony, and terrace, but Nordic people will be particularly pleased to know that the versatile patio chair also fits indoors – after all, our outdoor summer season tends to end all too soon!
Shine bright like a diamond
Kosta Boda's The Rock votive serves not only as a mood-enhancing glowing light source but also as a dramatic decorative element on its own. Designed by Hanna Hansdotter, the glass lantern's sharp shape and stylish color palette make it suitable for various different spaces. In the maximalist décors, it delights the eye with arrangements of multiple different-colored votives; in more minimalist homes, The Rock serves as a single shimmering eye-catcher.
