A playful mix of colours
Arabia’s beloved 24h tableware series has been adding a splash of color to homes for nearly three decades. Designed by Heikki Orvola in 1996, the idea behind the 24h collection was to create relaxed, everyday tableware that suits any time of day or occasion. All the colours and patterns in the series are made to mix and match effortlessly. The cheerful hues are perfect for brightening up your Easter table and springtime meals, and the versatile collection has something for every setting – from breakfast to dinner.
Make a statement with a tablecloth
One of the easiest ways to create a setting that stands out from the everyday is by adding a bold tablecloth. The Villiyrtit tablecloth by Lapuan Kankurit is inspired by the edible treasures of the Finnish countryside – villiyrtit is Finnish for wild herbs. Made of linen and measuring 150 x 200 cm, it’s perfect not only for your Easter table but also as a relaxed picnic blanket in the park. The charming pattern is the work of Finnish illustrator and graphic designer Matti Pikkujämsä.

A summer update for candleholders
The candlelight season continues throughout the year, but now is the time to switch to lighter summer candleholders. With their glowing amber, pink, and yellow shades, rejuvenating their nostalgic design, Flare candleholders by HAY will provide atmosphere at the Easter table. These slender candleholders are made of durable borosilicate glass.
A cheerful touch of handicraft
Ferm Living’s Flow tableware is full of good cheer and natural ambience. The porcelain tableware has been given a semi-matt glazing to emphasize its charming imperfection and provide a hand-crafted feel. Consisting of plates, mugs, and bowls, the collection is perfect for a relaxed Nordic Easter table setting, as well as for storing small items and creating arrangements of various kinds.
A modern Easter tradition
Artek’s heart-warming Easter Witch and Easter Dog vases are part of its FIN/JPN Friendship Collection designed by the Finnish-Korean designer duo, COMPANY. The vases are perfect for purely decorative use or for displaying spring willow twigs and flowers as part of a table setting. Made from matt-glazed pottery, the vases reflect Finnish Easter traditions. It would make a delightful custom to take these charmingly naive Easter vases out each year as the spring festival approaches.
Beautiful and practical
Even everyday details can be beautiful. Marble Groove trivets by Muuto add the finishing touch, including a little marble luxury to table settings. Water carafes or candleholders, as well as hot pots and pans, can be set down on the trivets. There’s no need to clear away these fascinatingly detailed and luxurious trivets after dining: they are a visual treat as part of table-top displays.
The final touch
Classic cloth napkins take table settings to a new level. Dinner napkins by The Organic Company are made of machine-washable organic cotton and adorned with a subtle herringbone pattern. Thanks to their hanging loops, they can also be used as hand towels for convenient, alternative use outside mealtimes. In addition, cutlery can be slid through the loops as part of a table setting. Available in multiple colors.
