Ever heard of Finnish everyman’s rights? The freedom to forage and roam the countryside allows for berry picking and endless outdoor enjoyment. To celebrate harvest time, we picked eight designs inspired by Nordic nature. Expect blueberry hues, apple aesthetics and even some vegan treats!

Dubbed the Nordic superfood, forest blueberries have lent their hue to Marimekko's beautiful candleholder. But why settle for less when you can go all in? Designed by Carina Seth Andersson, the Fyr candleholder is best paired with a homemade blueberry pie and vanilla sauce, much to the delight of summer visitors.

Fun and fruity cutie patootie

The apple does not fall far from the tree, but this one has made its way into the kids' room! We have the Danish design firm ferm LIVING to thank for this fun apple-shaped basket in braided rattan. Placing an actual apple next to the basket highlights the exaggerated proportions – and perhaps even helps fool the youngins there has been a sudden metamorphosis.
