Patterns and wild birch
The iconic armchair 45, one of Alvar Aalto’s personal favorites, has made a comeback with a slight update. The new version features refreshed dimensions, adjusted better to meet today's standards. The seat height has been raised slightly, and the seating position has been modified to be a bit more upright, making the chair even more versatile.
The delightful small armchair is equally at home around the dining table or as a compact lounge chair in a living room. The quilted leather upholstery pairs playfully with the checkered design of the contemporary Ochre Fields rug, designed in collaboration between LAYERED and the Swedish artist Evelina Kroon. The look is completed with a coffee table made from wild birch, a modern interpretation of Artek’s classic Aalto bench that celebrates the natural beauty of the birch wood.
Something blue
Marimekko’s classic patterns have found their way to the floor, thanks to a new rug collection designed in collaboration with Brink & Campman. The beige Tiiliskivi wool rug features a subtle blue grid pattern, giving the rug a fresh look. The pattern adds just the right amount of liveliness to the otherwise calm surface, and the accent color is easy to blend elsewhere in the space.
Woud's Arc coffee table brilliantly combines style with functionality, featuring a hidden storage compartment inside. Leave the adjustable table top open to display cherished items or close it to create a more minimalist look, while keeping remote controls and other necessities within easy reach. The matte-lacquered walnut surface has a beautiful, vibrant, and rich tone that brings warmth and character to any space.
More than just cognac
Muuto's Outline sofa is a timeless classic, often seen in the warm tones of cognac leather. If you love the design but feel that the leather's reddish hue is too bold, there are plenty of other options available. The sofa can be upholstered in fabric or various leather shades. The sofa shown in our showroom is dressed in soft and elegant Refine leather in a nougat shade. The rich, neutral tone blends effortlessly with different décors – whether you prefer bold black-and-white contrasts, calming beige tones, natural wood textures, or vibrant pops of color.
Timeless elegance
Astep’s minimalist Model 566 is a classic first introduced in 1956. Designed by the legendary Gino Sarfatti, the sleek silhouette and chrome finish give the table lamp a timeless appeal. The chrome finish and dynamic appearance make the Model 566 lamp a perfect balancing component for a warm-toned autumn home.
The compact size of the Model 566 makes it easy to place almost anywhere: on a side table, nightstand, or even a narrow windowsill. Best of all, the lamp is a visual delight even when switched off!
Classics dressed in walnut
This fall, Artek has produced a limited edition of dining tables number 83 and number 91 in a beautiful walnut stain. The rich, dark wood tone gives the tables a sophisticated look and makes them feel very current, as brown wood is now a popular choice for built-in furniture as well.
To create a harmonious dining set, pair the table with Aalto armchairs 45 featuring saddle leather upholstery and fitting wood details. If you need extra seats, three-legged and four-legged Aalto stools in the same warm brown tone are the perfect match.
Big in the living room
As the summer ends and life shifts more indoors, living areas become the heart of the home. This is when the comfort of seating furniture becomes essential. Choosing high-quality sofas and armchairs is a worthwhile investment, as their durability ensures they will remain comfortable and beautiful for many years to come.
GUBI’s Flaneur sofa features a timeless, elegant design. The secret lies in its proportion: the three-seater model offers room for up to four, while the deep seat encourages lounging, preferably surrounded by a generous pile of cozy cushions.
